Yoga Instructor Bios
Yoga has been a part of Sharon’s life for over 5 years, her practice has helped her overcome physical injuries, head trauma, but most importantly it has taught her to be fearless both on and off the mat. Yoga inspires her to live each moment with boundless love and mindfulness at every breath.
She completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training and an additional 200 hour Extensions Program at Core Power Yoga with the intention of improving upon her own practice, but soon decided to also teach and share the healing powers this practice with others.
She currently teaches alignment based power flow yoga classes a few days a week at Core Power Yoga, guides Glow Yoga classes at different studios around town and also owns a yoga online shop, OneLoveYogaPride.com.
Sharon’s classes are full of fun energy, she thrives to inspire students to deepen their practice, improve upon a healthier life balance but thrives at reminding students that life goals are only accomplished with mindfulness, patience and one deep breath at a time.
Krissi has been teaching yoga for over four years now and enjoys the opportunity to guide people into their own mind body spirit connection while creating space for personal growth and development. She first fell in love with her heated power vinyasa practice at Salt Lake Power Yoga when she was about twelve weeks into her second pregnancy — it was a major game changer for her! Krissi practiced nearly every day until her delivery and began her 200 hour yoga teacher training certificate just three months postpartum followed by a 25 hour continuing education prenatal yoga certification.
More recently, Krissi practiced her way through her third pregnancy and benefited greatly from physical therapy as an added resource. She has a teenage bonus daughter with her husband, Tommy, and they are now in the learning curve of life with three littles!
She is currently completing an additional prenatal/postnatal & core rehabilitation certification program to further her own education and add more to her power vinyasa flow as well as specific, individualized care for women who plan to conceive or are currently growing tiny humans and those of us rehabilitating or rediscovering a body that has undergone an amazing transformation into motherhood. No matter hwere you identify in the journey… Krissi can’t wait to meet you!
